Hello from Austria!
I’ve seen so many different things over the past couple of days but I wanted to highlight our amazing group excursion on the Danube River. We boarded this river cruise ship in a smaller town called Melk. The wind and light rain didn’t stop plenty of us (including myself) to take photos and enjoy the top deck!
We then rode about 45-60 minutes down river past castles and smaller towns. After a quick reboarded of our bus to arrive in Dürnstein. It’s a storybook village surrounded by the vineyards and orchards of Wachau valley.
It was winding down for the evening so we pretty much had town to ourselves versus a major tourist crowd. I had amazing local sandwich served with a speciality Apricot mustard. Amazing quiet spot to eat and enjoy with friends!
