The beginning of adventures for some, eight of the gals enjoyed a pasta dinner across from the Mercure hotel. The dinner started with two friendly gentlemen bringing us many laughs. Quiet but uplifting music set the light hearted atmosphere before serving us pasta with Parmesan.
He serves two dishes in white dainty porcelain. We all tasted three large servings of pasta— a savory soy sauce based rigatoni, pesto pasta, and finally la carbonara which is a red sauce pasta made with secret love.
“Two espressos please.” Giggles erupt and it spreads to the waiters. “With the pasta”? The waiter responds to the request. Strange gals, he was thinking.
“Chow!” From the friendly Italian waiter. With full bellies, we walk to the tram heading to Opera.
